IAPD Plastics PAC Fundraiser: Wine and Cheese Tasting

6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. This fundraiser benefits the IAPD Plastics PAC.
Hyatt Regency Chicago

Enjoy an evening sipping on red and white while supporting the red, white and blue! Attendees will sample six wines presented by a local sommelier while connecting with fellow convention delegates in a relaxed atmosphere. Attendance at this event will help raise funds for IAPD's Political Action Committee.

Our priorities cannot be accomplished without legislators who understand and hear from the performance plastics industry. What happens in Washington, D.C. affects our companies’ bottom lines.

Supporting the Members of Congress who support our companies is critical. There is no substitute for involvement in the political process to drive change that will benefit your business and to prevent policies from being adopted that will erect new and greater barriers to the present and future success of your company.

The fee to attend is US$100 (in addition to convention registration fees).

This fee is considered a "contribution" to the IAPD Plastics PAC. Federal law requires that all contributions must be made to the IAPD Plastics PAC by personal check or credit card. Corporate contributions are strictly prohibited.

ONLY U.S. Citizens are permitted to personally contribute to the IAPD Plastics PAC. Non-U.S. citizens will be charged US$50 to cover reception costs, but may not contribute a personal donation to the PAC.

About the IAPD Plastics PAC:

  • Supports the Members of Congress who defend our business interests in Washington
  • Allows IAPD members to attend events where we can educate Members of Congress on the realities of our industry
  • Counters the messages delivered by PACs formed by materials such as metal, wood and glass

Proceeds from the US$100 fee to attend this event, plus any additional personal contributions from attendees, will help strengthen the performance plastics industry's position in Washington, D.C. and provide a critical tool for IAPD's representatives in Washington to advance our members' legislative agenda.
