PLASKOLITE’s Jim Richards Receives IAPD President’s Award



Overland Park, Kans. – IAPD - The Performance Plastics Association, is pleased to announce that Jim Richards, PLASKOLITE Vice President Sales, Industrial Division, is the recipient of the 2022 IAPD President’s Award. This announcement was made at the opening general session of the 66th Annual IAPD Convention and connecX in Tampa, FL, USA, on Wednesday, September 14, 2022.

“Before Jim was elected to the IAPD Board of Directors, PLASKOLITE was one of IAPD’s largest members, yet the company wasn’t too involved. Thanks to Jim’s dedication to board service, he was voted on to the Executive Committee, where he is playing a vital role in guiding the future of the association and the industry,” said IAPD CEO Susan Avery, CAE. “He has turned into an IAPD engagement champion, playing a pivotal role in getting more people from PLASKOLITE to volunteer and provide much-needed functional expertise on IAPD committees and task forces, where they are contributing to IAPD’s initiatives and making the association and industry stronger. He also has helped us reach deeper into the distributor market for leadership talent. We thank Jim for all he is doing for the performance plastics industry and association.”

The President’s Award is bestowed on an IAPD person or persons who has gone above-and-beyond in their service to the association.
