IAPD Welcomes Hayden Hess of Industrial Plastic Supply, Inc. to Board of Directors

OVERLAND PARK, KS - The International Association of Plastics Distribution (IAPD), the international trade association comprised of companies engaged in the distribution and manufacturing of performance plastics, is pleased to announce that Hayden Hess of Industrial Plastic Supply, Inc. has been approved via a vote of the membership to serve a two-year term on the IAPD Board of Directors beginning August 20, 2021.

Hess has been with Industrial Plastic Supply, Inc. for more than 34 years and currently serves as president. Prior to Industrial Plastics, he worked for Cadillac Plastics (which is now Polymershapes) for five years.

“Hayden is the president of one of IAPD’s most active smaller distributor companies. He has been a leading voice and participant in IAPD’s Small Distributor Council and Small Distributor Roundtable meetings,” said IAPD CEO Susan Avery, CAE. “Hayden was selected for the IAPD Board to help give smaller distributors a voice on the board, as well as his critical industry experience in one of the most regulated states, California. His input will prove invaluable in IAPD’s sustainability initiatives.”
