IAPD Welcomes Doug Twitchell of 3A Composites USA, Inc. to Board of Directors

OVERLAND PARK, KS - The International Association of Plastics Distribution (IAPD), the international trade association comprised of companies engaged in the distribution and manufacturing of performance plastics, is pleased to announce that Doug Twitchell of 3A Composites USA, Inc. has been approved via a vote of the membership to serve a two-year term on the IAPD Board of Directors beginning August 20, 2021.

Twitchell has been in plastics his entire career. He has been with 3A Composites USA, Inc. since 1999 and is currently the director of distributor relations. Before joining 3A Composites, Twitchell worked in plastic distribution in the Seattle, WA and Salt Lake City, UT markets. He earned a degree in marketing from Eastern Washington University.

“Doug is an active member of IAPD’s Membership Committee,” said IAPD CEO Susan Avery, CAE. “He has experience working in both distribution and manufacturing and was selected for the IAPD Board as he will be a tremendous asset to the Board in its desire to guide the performance plastics industry through the ongoing industry consolidations and vertical integrations.”
