IAPD Plastics Market Share Research Study
The 2009 Market Share Research Study specifically seeks to identify the total size of the NAFTA plastics stock shapes market (sheet, rod, tube and film), as well as the pipe, valves and fittings market. The goal of the completed analysis report will be to give companies the opportunity to evaluate their own market share and potential strategic opportunities.
This data survey will include all manufacturers who ship plastic products to or within the North American market. Please report your company’s shipment to the NAFTA market, but not your sales to the rest of the globe.
The 2009 Market Share Study should be based on year-end 2008 data. Please report your company’s production volumes and capacities for all grades of product produced by the method of manufacture. For example: clear and color products, impact modified, mirror and textures. Please report capacity based on a normal mix of products produced.
Types of plastic materials in the sheet, rod, tube and film portion of the study include: acrylic, polycarbonate, optical see-throughs, polyolefins, mechanical plastics, styrene, ABS, PVC, CPVC, HPMs, graphic substrates, fluoropolymers, phenolics and polyurethane.
Types of plastic materials and products in the PVF portion of the study include: PVC, CPVC, polypropylene, PVDF, CPVC acid waste systems, polypropylene acid waste systems and ABS air pipe.
The aggregate data will be shared at no cost to all IAPD members and participating nonmembers. Please submit one survey per company.
