Converting Metal Components to Plastic

Technical Advisory: Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET/PETE)
PET/PETE is a durable, tough plastic that exhibits good chemical resistance. The largest use for PET/PETE is in carbonated soft drink and water bottles. Very thin (0.025 mm) films have excellent clarity, toughness and heat resistance. Thicker films and sheet (0.13 to 1.50 mm) when amorphous have excellent clarity, gloss and toughness.
