Mark Colton, Product Development Manager, Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics

Mr. Colton has a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from Ohio University and an MBA from the University of Akron. He has been with Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics since 1993 and has more than 35 years of experience in polymerization, compounding and extrusion of thermoplastic and elastomeric materials and has held positions in manufacturing supervision, manufacturing and engineering management, and R&D product/process development. Mr. Colton’s current development responsibilities include products for medical, pharmaceutical, food & beverage, laboratory and industrial markets. His employment history also includes BFGoodrich Chemical and Furon and he holds multiple patents as a co-inventor of multi-layer tubing products for various applications.
