Professional Plastics is looking for a Director of Purchasing

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Managing the daily operations of the Purchasing and Supply Chain Logistics.
Managing and continually evaluating the MRP system to ensure correct data and reporting.
Overseeing 8-10 direct reports.
Developing company-wide purchasing policies.
Reviewing and analyzing supply chain process.

Texas Sales Manager

Develop Texas markets, including Dallas, Houston, Austin and San Antonio
Must achieve $15,000/month of gross margin from personal sales. Additional sales staff will be added once personal gross margin goal is achieved.

Responsibilities

Generate appointments via prospecting, lead follow-up, personal networking, cold calling and referrals.
Cold calling of approximately 75+ calls/week.
Visit prospects and customers with potential of $25,000 or more per year. Make in-person sales calls 1-2 days per week.
Prepare labor and material estimates and issue quotations.

Desired Skills and Experience

Require plastic sheet distribution industry veteran with 10+ years of experience.
Must have sold fabrication parts to OEMs, retailers and others.
Knowledgeable about see-thrus, graphic materials and engineered plastics.
Prior estimating experience involving material layout and labor.

Education

Prefer a four year college degree in business, accounting or marketing.
Knowledge of CNC machining and blueprint reading a plus.
