Former IAPD President Pat Foose Leaves Georg Fischer Harvel, LLC

After a long and successful career at Harvel, Pat Foose, managing director of Georg Fischer Harvel, has decided to leave the company by the end of June 2013. He plans to pursue his career outside of Georg Fischer. Since the acquisition of Harvel in January 2012, Foose has been instrumental in transitioning the company into a subsidiary of Georg Fischer. According to the announcement by Georg Fischer Harvel LLC, “We sincerely regret his decision to leave and wish him all the best for the future.”

Upon his departure, Rocky Wade will assume responsibility for Georg Fischer Harvel and will preside over the future management team. Wade began his career with Central Plastics in 1987 prior to the acquisition by Georg Fischer in 2008.

Georg Fischer Harvel LLC thanks Pat Foose for his significant contributions and asks for everybody’s support during the transition period. The sales and management team of GF Piping Systems in the United States is committed to addressing any questions or concerns you may have.

Foose was president of IAPD from 2008-2010. During his term, he spearheaded many initiatives that have helped propel the association forward and improved it for all the members. According to IAPD CEO Susan E. Avery, CAE, “Pat is a wonderful person and he was deeply committed to IAPD during his time on the Board of Directors. I look forward to seeing what he does in this new chapter of his career. He will always have friends at IAPD, and we hope his future career plans fall within our industry.”
