Kommerling to Aid Tornado Victims
Rigid substrate maker Kommerling USA, Huntsville, Ala., is donating $100,000 toward relief efforts for the victims of the violent tornadoes that ripped across Alabama April 28. The line of violent thunderstorms that rolled across the Deep South spawned dozens of tornadoes, razing churches and fire stations, trapping people amid debris, and leaving at least 180 people dead. The powerful string of storms is being called the worst in Alabama history.
“We are going to donate $100,000 dollars in material to Habitat for Humanity in Huntsville to help the tornado victims rebuild their life,” said Jerry White Jr., Kommerling’s national sales manager. “The donation represents $2,000 for every person who works within the Kommerling family.”
