Remembering Norman Drucker

The plastics distribution community has lost an icon. Norman Drucker passed away on June 18 after a long illness. He was 73 years old. Drucker and his partner Alex Gabay were the co-founders of AIN Plastics in 1970. The business was sold to ThyssenKrupp in 1996.

Drucker's passion for the business, his management style and high standards of excellence are still being followed today. The many successful employees he developed owe much of their success to Drucker. For that, we are grateful and offer the deepest condolences to his wife, children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed.

To remember his many contributions to the plastics industry, we are reprinting a letter written by Vincent LaLima from AIN Plastics in 2011.
