Bayer MaterialScience at the 2012 AIA National Convention and Design Exposition

Bayer MaterialScience LLC's sheet material innovations for design, protection and lighting in construction was on display at the American Institute of Architects National Convention and Design Exposition, from May 17 - 19 in Washington, D.C. The Bayer booth featured a wall sections and a trellis made from 3form's Koda XT™ engineered polycarbonate panels; an overhead wall-mounted LED lighting fixture featuring Makrolon® Lumen XT polycarbonate light diffuser sheets for LED fixtures; a Versatile Window from Winco Window, constructed with Makrolon® multi UV sheets and Makrolon® 15 polycarbonate glazing; and a custom building façade made of Hygard® BL80 transparent blast protection technology providing blast resistance of up to 80psi and 380 psi-msec.
