Charitable Auction at IAPD Annual Convention and Plastics Showcase

As part of the celebrating plastics theme of the 2013 IAPD Annual Convention and Plastics Showcase, IAPD is offering a charity auction at the 2013 IAPD Convention & Plastics Showcase to benefit the IAPD Charitable Foundation, which funds the annual IAPD Scholarships.

There will be two parts to the auction:

1. Silent Auction

The Silent Auction will take place during the Plastics Showcase on Wednesday, October 2 and the following items will be auctioned:

2-night stay at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel

Complimentary weekend stay with breakfast at the Hyatt Regency Chicago

Bushnell Neo+ Golf GPS Rangefinder watch and Serengeti Ricco Polarized Driving Sunglasses

Bushnell Golf Tour V3 Slope Edition Laser Range Finder and Serengeti Barolo Polarized Driving Sunglasses

2. Live Auction

The Live Auction will start at the Plastics Showcase, where you will have the chance to bid on a Martin D1 Acoustic Guitar donated by KYDEX, LLC, among other exciting prizes. The auction will conclude with bidding on the Mystery Prize (a US$2,500 value) at the first stop on the South Beach Pub Crawl. The Mystery Prize is sponsored by Cope Plastics, Inc.

About the IAPD Charitable Foundation
The IAPD Charitable Foundation was established to develop and administer an award program for IAPD member companies at the undergraduate and graduate levels and to promote the study of polymer sciences. Each year, scholarships are awarded in amounts up to US$4,500 to provide meaningful financial support for the education of worthy scholarship candidates.
