Optimizing Distributor Profitability
March 5 and 6, 2009 , Texas A&M University, College Station, TX, USA.
This 1.5 day program is based on Texas A&M Thomas & Joan Read Center for Distribution Research and Education's recently completed research consortium, conducted across six distribution channels with 11 distribution firms. The study found that a typical distributor has the potential to double EBITDA and triple ROI .
The workshop will help you assess your business processes against best practices and financial performance against cross-channel financial benchmarking. This detailed process will highlight the performance gaps — both in terms of process and profitability. Then the program will assist you in understanding the importance of that gap by linking corresponding business process and shareholder value. Attendees will also receive a Texas A&M Best Practices Tool Box (seven booklets) and the Distributor Profitability Map.
