Presenter Bios


Eric Weir is the technical services engineer for Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials in Reading, Pennsylvania. Eric graduated in 2016 from The Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor’s degree in electro-mechanical engineering technology and started working for Quadrant EPP in early 2017. His main function is as a certification and specification engineer with a future of moving into business/application development. Eric serves as the committee chairman of ASTM D20.15.18 subcommittee on Polyoxymethylene plastics and is also a presenter at the Mitsubishi’s Advanced Materials University.


Ryan Flexman began his career at Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials in 2016 as a sales intern, which quickly led to a full time inside sales position managing part of the Mid-Atlantic region. Recently, Ryan moved into the role of a territory manager, covering the entire North East region. He has also joined the Advanced Materials University Team, where his focus is on educating our channel partners about today’s polymer applications. Ryan earned his Bachelor’s Degree in business from Bloomsburg University. He is an avid sports fan, and in his free time enjoys skiing, surfing and traveling.
