IAPD Convention delegates will receive a special room rate of US$269 per night for a single/double room. You must book your room by Monday, September 25, 2023, to receive this special rate. After September 25, the room block will close, and the room rate will increase to the going rate.

Room rates are subject to tax. The resort fee has been waived per room, per night plus applicable taxes for this group. Upon booking your reservation it will display the standard $26.00 resort fee but know this will be adjusted on the hotel side once confirmed.

IAPD Room Block

IAPD has reserved guest rooms at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina. The IAPD Group rate is valid through the cut-off date of September 25, 2023.

All IAPD meetings will be held at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina.

If you would like to extend your stay in San Diego before or after the 67th Annual IAPD Convention, the special room rate will be available from October 20-29, 2023, based on hotel availability. Book early if you plan to extend your stay – rooms will sell out!

IAPD works hard to ensure that you are comfortable during your stay at the IAPD Annual Convention by locking in an affordable hotel rate. When IAPD delegates choose to stay at a hotel offsite, IAPD risks being charged a detrimental attrition fee. For the annual Convention, IAPD contracts a certain number of room nights. If this does not get fulfilled, IAPD will not be able to contract the same number of room nights at future IAPD Conventions, therefore the attendees may not be able to secure their reservation at the designated Convention hotel. It is recognized and appreciated that IAPD delegates reserve their stay at the hotel that IAPD has contracted with. BEWARE OF TRAVEL AGENCY SCAMS

If anyone claiming to be associated with a travel agency and/or “convention housing” contacts you with an offer for a hotel room, do not provide them contact or payment information. This is a scam. For hotel reservations, contact the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina, IAPD’s official convention hotel, at (619) 400-2404 and alert IAPD Staff of any scam attempts from third parties.

Registration is not required prior to reserving a room. However, IAPD will be cross checking housing lists against registered attendees. Room reservations are subject to cancellation if not registered for the 67th Annual IAPD Convention by October 16, 2023.
