Tour 1: Plastics Extrusion and Injection Molding Equipment
Experienced scientists and engineers will give you tutorials and demonstrations on how plastic is extruded into profiles and molded into shapes. The same experts will also demonstrate ASTM and other testing methods designed for plastics, and explain the importance of this comparative data to final specifiers of materials across a broad range of applications. into shapes.
Tour 2: Arkema, Inc.'s Analytical Lab
In this tour, you will see where polymer properties are studied on equipment such as X-Ray Diffraction, Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), Rheometers, and high performance microscopes. In the same tour there will be a demonstration of Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) 3D printing of polymers into shapes.
