Presented by Ayanna Kelly

There are many issues leaders are concerned with after the Great Resignation and Great Racial Awakening and their impacts on the workplace. Many leaders are concerned key organizational roles go vacant, employees are disengaged, and everyone is combating burnout. So, what do we do with this? Go back to the basics. Mentorship is one of the most effective ways to contribute to company culture and impact retention rates.

If mentorship is so effective, why aren’t people more engaged in mentorship relationships?

This Mentorship and Retention session will aim to dispel the challenges associated with creating mentorship programs. It’ll also highlight the positive impacts and ROI that can be achieved. The session will explore Ayanna Kelly’s experience of lacking effective mentorship even when other benefits have been what historically are the primary reasons for retention.

Attendees will learn the following:

  • Importance of mentorship in the workplace
  • How mentorship is directly related to retention
  • Impacts of mentorship programs on company culture and retention
