IAPD Recognizes Martino Marketing Group's Kim Reddick with Prestigious President's Award

OVERLAND PARK, KS ̶ The International Association of Plastics Distribution (IAPD), the international trade association comprised of companies engaged in the distribution and manufacturer of performance plastics, recognized Kim Reddick for her outstanding contributions to the organization with the 2018 President's Award. The announcement was made at the opening general session for the 62nd Annual IAPD Convention and Plastics Showcase on October 3 in Washington D.C., USA.

Reddick has worked tirelessly on the Women in Plastics initiative. As chair, she has been key to transforming the group from little more than a good idea to a strong committee with a solid mission and a track record of successful events. We applaud Reddick for her leadership and vision to empower all IAPD members with the regional educational events presented by Women in Plastics and the outreach this group has done to increase engagement and visibility of the incredible professional women that make up our industry.

"The President's Award is given to an individual or company who has gone above and beyond the call of duty on behalf of the association," said IAPD CEO Susan E. Avery, CAE. "Kim became chair of the Women in Plastics group when it was still developing and, through her dedication and commitment, has lead the group to where it is today: The driving force behind four popular regional events presented each year for women and men to develop their leadership skills and advance their careers in the performance plastics industry, as well as a lively LinkedIn Group and source for mentors for other IAPD members."

Reddick is the vice president of marketing for Martino Marketing Group (MMG) and has been with MMG since 1995, working closely with the industry's leading manufacturers of thermoplastic sheet, rod, tube and custom shapes. In her current position, she manages an outside territory and acts as a liaison with manufacturers to promote thermoplastics to the trade.
